Science Lesson

Today I taught my science plan and the students were engaged. I taught all about the water cycle. I was able to show a quick video that explains what happens in a water cycle. The students were also amazed when I did an experiment of a rainy cloud. I was able to ask questions during the experiment and the students were being responsible and respectful. I noticed that the students were able to listen throughout my lesson. As the weeks pass, the students understand that we have class management when I am teaching. I constantly need to stop and wait or figure out ways to catch their attention and have them refocus again.
The students were so excited to create their own water cycle on their own. I made sure that my example of my water cycle and the definitions of each stage was presented in front of the class. I did not focus on the students remembering the name of the different stages. I focused more on the students knowing how the water cycle works and looks like. My students needed more information about the water cycle rather than defining and knowing the stages of the water cycle. I personally thought that my science lesson was fun and engaging with hands-on activities.
